Saltwater Deception by Ben Zander
Steelhead are the gem of Washington state. They are known as the fish of a
thousand casts. Most steelhead anglers spend hours and countless days in cold
weather pursuing these fish in rivers. We take it one step further and chase them
in the salt which makes it much more challenging. Hooking one is the catch of a
lifetime that every angler needs to experience.
We will be targeting the sought after winter steelhead, both hatchery and wild. Our
approach will be from the beaches of Puget Sound as we throw both bait fish and
original salt water steelhead patterns in an attempt to trigger the fish's predatory
instinct.
