A Sea Run Cutthroat Fly Fishing Guide Service - Seattle, Washington

Beach Trip

Walk and wade the many beaches of Puget Sound. December - March we target sea-run cutthroat on foot.

Walking the beaches of Puget Sound is not only a calming experience for each one of us but is also an experience to take a closer look at what this beautiful body of water offers us from an anglers point of view. Sound Fly Fishing Guide Service will take you on a walk with fly rods in hand, to pursue the sea run cutthroat. Your full day will consist of fishing 2-4 beaches with minimal drive time in between while half day trips offer 1-2 beaches. Eel grass beds, sand flats and rocky beaches will all be underfoot while we cast and learn why cutthroat inhabit each area.  Each trip is unique to the tides of that day and your casting will adjust to each condition presented by nature and the fish themselves. Beach fishing can be a quiet stroll but more often than not you will be running up and down the tide line casting to every jump, back or swirl you see around you.
